Dear Rose and family, We were very saddened to hear of the loss of John. Our son John Jr. works in the Transit and heard the sad news. We have very fond memories of raising our families in the Bronx together. He will forever be in our hearts. We love you Rose. John and Noreen O'Shea, Clearwater, FL. John Jr. in New Rochelle, NY. My Dear Uncle John...I thank you for always putting a smile on my face when I was lucky enough to be in your company. I cherish my childhood memories of you playing the accordion while Uncle Pat played the bodhran and all of the cousins performed Irish dances. Your loss is great to all of us. I am, however, comforted by the fact that my Dad and Uncle Eamon have received mighty good company in heaven. I can just imagine the craic that will go on! Until we meet again...May you rest in eternal peace.

I have known John Guihan since the mid-1990s when my brother Chris first met John's daughter Linda, now Chris' wife. John was one of the nicest, most gracious people I've ever known. He and his incredible wife Rose invited me and my friends and family to their home on many a occasion. He always had a smile on his face, and a great story to tell.
