Obituary of Barry Edwin Smith

Barry E. Smith passed away suddenly on Thursday March 12, 2015 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick. He was 62. The son of the late Edwin and Eleanor Smith, he was born on April 9, 1952 and grew up in Cornwall, N.Y. and later moved to Greenwood Lake, New York. He is survived by his soul mate and the love of his life Debbie of Greenwood Lake. His sisters Linda (Robert) Thompson of New Windsor and Arlene Scott of Newburgh, his nephew Michael (Cathy) Thompson of New Windsor and great nephews Robbie and Ryan Thompson and nieces Kathy and Dawn of Florida and many cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Edwin Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and his grandparents Mary and Simeon Smith and Grace and Ernest Broughton. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held on Sunday March 22, 2015 from 3-5 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
