Obituary of Frank P. Biasi

Frank P. Biasi, of Middletown, a self-employed mason and longtime resident of the area, died peacefully on March 14, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was 80.
The son of the late Giovanni and Rosa Pascale Biasi, he was born on April 11, 1934 in Monopoli Bari, Italy.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Middletown, N.Y., BPOE Lodge 1097 in Middletown and the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #5.
A family statement read: Frank came to the United States in 1950 and fulfilled the American dream. He apprenticed as a mason, mastered his craft and built many beautiful structures in Orange County. Frank and his wife had a happy, loving marriage raising a beautiful family they both treasured. Frank valued education, always encouraging his four children to learn, working hard to ensure they all pursued and graduated college. Frank loved animals, nature and the outdoors. He had a large vegetable garden and fruit trees that he nurtured and found delight in watching them grow.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years Angela "Mary" Biasi at home. He was a loving and dedicated father to Rosamaria Contarino and her husband John of Middletown; Lucretia Lezny and her husband Christopher of London, U.K. and Frank J. Biasi of West Chester, PA. He was predeceased by his daughter Filomena Dauksher. He is further survived by his loving grandchildren Angela and Andrew Contarino; Christopher and Charlotte Lezny and William Dauksher; His son-in-law William "Bill" Dauksher of Mesa, Arizona. His brothers Nick Biasi and his wife Linda and Joseph Biasi and his wife Louise all of Middletown. His sister-in-law Gladys Biasi; his brothers-in-laws Cosmo Annese and his wife Mary and Mario Biasi. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 19, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage Street Middletown, N.Y.
Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
