My military memories of Frank, were of a man who took his job seriously; as, indeed everyone should. As NCO’s, we respected each other. I also believe that as we grew older, and attended annual military gatherings, we grew closer in friendships. God Grant him Eternal Rest In Heaven and much Peace and Comfort to his family always.

Q: What will you never forget about Francis?
A: I will always remember when I was young and I needed help with my math homework, I always ran to Uncle Frank. I was going to join the military to be just like him, but instead I decided to have babies at a young age. and of course my Uncle Frank was not at all disappointed in me. And I will never forget whenever he would call me he always said, "What are you up to Brat" and before we would hang up he would say, " I love you too Babes" It was an honor to have Uncle Frank as an Uncle.

I remember Frank throughout my military career and beyond. He was in D/854 when I enlisted, as I became a cadet, and was both my Platoon Sergeant and 1st Sergeant when I was 2nd Platoon leader and later Company Commander. Frank got the job done. Whether by himself, or knowing who could get it done best, he made sure the mission succeeded. Sometimes grouchy, always thoughtful, he gave of himself and took care of his people.
