Gisela Schulze of Greenwood Lake, New Yok, a former waitress at the Linden House in Greenwood Lake, New York and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on January 1, 2023 at the Friedwald Center for Rehab and Nursing in New City, N.Y. She was 82.
The daughter of Ernst and Marichen Dass, she was born on July 7, 1940 in Germany.
She was a member of the German American Club in Middletown, N.Y. and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
Gisela is survived and missed by her devoted and loving husband Dietmar Schulze at home. Her daughter Tanya Heffner and her husband John of Warwick, N.Y. Her granddaughter Brooke Heffner and her brother Gunter Dass and his wife Margit of Germany.
Gisela was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Oma), and friend and will be forever loved and missed.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Grace Lutheran Church 25 Waterstone Road in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. The Services will be livestreamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/gisela-schulze
