Obituary of Rose Palmer

Rose B. Palmer of Middletown, a former domestic housekeeper and a lifelong resident of the area, died on February 2, 2015 in Valley View Rehab Center in Goshen. She was 91. The daughter of the late Albert and Katherine Hall Cushion, she was born on August 10, 1923 in Pine Bush, N.Y. She was the widow of Elmer F. Palmer. She was a member of the Salvation Army in Middletown and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Middletown. Survivors include her children Larry Palmer and his wife Edna of Middletown and Beatrice and Nancy Palmer of Middletown. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons: Elmer, Robert, Donald and Ronald. She was predeceased by her daughters Pat Talmadge, Helen Bloom and Suzanne Palmer. She is also predeceased by her sisters and brothers. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 from 9-11 A.M. with Funeral Services at 11 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, New York. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middletown Salvation Army.
