Obituary of Juanita F. Brathwaite

Juanita "Fran" Brathwaite was born on August 1, 1975 in the beautiful island of Barbados. Fran was a strong and resilient woman, who despite enduring more than most never allowed the difficulties of life to completely dampen her spirits and rob her hopes and dreams. To know Fran was to love her, she was an inspiration to many. She passed away on July 16, 2022 surrounded by her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter Laila Brathwaite. Her parents Shirley and Melcadoes Brathwaite. Her sisters Vicki, Kim, Allison, Tamar. Nephews and nieces Pierre, Whitley, Scott Lee, Alanna, Alyese, Asa, Andon, Aaron and Amari. Great niece and nephew Ta'leyah and Aleke. Her uncles Earl, David and Ranny and her aunts Ann, Eureka, Jackie and Millicent and her great uncle Clement Hunte of Barbados. In addition to so many other deeply loved aunts, uncles and cousins both here and abroad. She is also survived by her special friends of Clare and Rachel. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday July 30, 2022 from 12:30 P.M.-1:30 P.M. At the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
