William F. "Bill" Leahy, the owner of Uncle Bill's Garage in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on April 25, 2022 at his home. He was 60.
The son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Leahy, he was born on September 17, 1961 in Bronx, New York.
Survivors include his sister Joan Kolesar and her husband Barry of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. and his brother Stephen W. Leahy of Miami Beach, Florida. His nephews Patrick Kolesar and Brendan Kolesar and his cousins including Barry Bennett of Las Cruces, N.M. and Donna Leahy Hughes of Center Moriches, N.Y.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022 from 2-4 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
