Maryann Toro of Middletown, N.Y. passed away on April 4, 2022 at her home. She was 70. Maryann was a retired driver for the City of New York where she worked at Bellevue Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Maryann loved spending time with her family and sharing the message of Jehovah. The family remembers her enjoyment of salsa dancing and her delicious food. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help others. The daughter of Julio and Paula Toro, Maryann was born on September 27, 1951 in Manhattan, N.Y. She is survived by her son Manuel Acevedo of Florida; daughter Nanette Acevedo of New York; grandsons Julian Watson, Nijel Watson, Markel Watson, Manuel Acevedo Jr., Zyell Manigat, and her granddaughters Gabriella Crews, Imani Acevedo, Victoria Acevedo, Jessica Green and Ashley Trapani. Her great-grandchildren Khyliee Watson and Markel Watson, Jr. as well as many other family members and friends. Maryann was predeceased by her parents Julio and Paula Toro; brothers Paul and Julio Toro; sisters Carol Sotomayer and Lillian Toro and her son Eric Acevedo. Maryann will be truly miss by all who loved and knew her. Visitation hours and Services will be held on Sunday April 10, 2022 from 12 Noon-2 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
