Obituary of Catherine A. Panaro

Catherine A. Panaro of Middletown, N.Y., a retired baker at Shop-Rite in Middletown, N.Y. and a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on March 19, 2022 in Jack D. Weiler Hospital in Bronx, N.Y. She was 75. The daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Mikulski, she was born on June 30, 1946 in Warwick, New York. Survivors include her husband Vincent Panaro at home. Her children Patrick Panaro and Cathy-Jo Beairsto and her husband Chad all of Middletown, N.Y. Her grandchildren Andrew V. Velazquez, Nicholas L. Velazquez and Phoebe Panaro. Her brother Andrew Mikulski Jr. and his wife Anne; her sister Deborah Fowler and her husband Arthur, her sister-in-law Katherine Mikulski and her many adopted neighborhood children and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Mikulski. A Family statement read: Cathy had the eyes of a tiger and a zest for life unparalleled by most. Always with a smile on her face and a quick wit. She was a magnet that drew everyone to her. When she loved you, it was an unconditional love. As much love as she had in her heart for everyone else, the love she shared with her husband Vincent for more than 56 years, sets the standard for all other loves. She was the family photographer always with a camera in her hands capturing the family memories. She will always be remembered, loved, and cherished for her infectious laughter and smile. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 24, 2022 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church in Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
