Thomas Scott of Scotchtown, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on January 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was 67 years old. Thomas was born August 19,
1947 to Pamela Dupperon and Patrick Scott in Hartford, CT. In 1967 he joined the Marine Corps.He served inVietnam andis a member of the VFW Post# 2064 in Maybrook, NY.
Thomas graduated from Central Connecticut State University obtaining his degree in Business Management. He worked in the supermarket industry fulfilling many supervisory positions throughout the United States until his retirement in 2009. During his retirement he was an avid golfer, enjoyed writing and was a member of several organizations and groups. He loved spending time with his family, two dogs, Mercedes and Bella, and travel.
He was a loving father and devoted husband. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 46 years his daughter Allison Roche and husband Tom of the Town of Montgomery, NY, son Thomas and wife Tammy of Peachtree City, GA, son Jonathan and companion Lisa of Washingtonville, NY, son Adam and wife Sarah of Houston, TX and five grandchildren Jeffrey and Bryan Roche, Nia and Thomas Scott III and Sophia Scott; his brother Patrick Scott of Windsor, CT sister-in-law Mary LaCava and husband Tony of Wethersfield, CT, sister-in-law Dee Tutino and husband Sandro of Somers, CT, sister-in-law Barbara Buttafuoco of Enfield, CT and a plethora of nieces & nephews. He was pre deceased by his sister-in-laws, Janet Buttafuoco and Judy Scott, brother-in-law Benny Buttafuoco, nephew Peter Buttafuoco and niece Alexandra Scott.
May he forever rest in peace in God's loving arms. His family is deeply thankful for his love, devotion and commitment. He will be missed by his family and all he touched and he will forever be in their hearts. "Don't allow any sadness to dwell in your soul, for sadness prevents the Holy Spirit from acting freely"

In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be made in his name to Alex's Lemonade Stand or a Humane Society of your choice.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at St. Joseph RC Church 149 Cottage Street Middletown, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
