Obituary of Rita Rose Doty

Rita Rose Doty of Middletown, N.Y. a former therapy aide at the Middletown Psychiatric Center and a lifelong resident of the area passed away on Thursday October 21, 2021. She was 94. The daughter of the late David and Jessie Gates Daly, she was born on January 3, 1927 in the Town of Wallkill, New York. She was the widow of Lawrence Doty Sr. Survivors include her children Lawrence Doty Jr. (Marlene) of Middletown, N.Y.; Linda Attreed (Frank) of Gloversville, N.Y.; Russell Doty (Mary) of Suffolk, Virginia; Kenneth Doty (Sandi) of Maryland; Nancy Komonczi (James) of Middletown, N.Y. and Mark Doty (Kim) of Georgia. Her brother George Daly (Fran) of North Carolina. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Kimberly Attreed. Visitation hours will be held on Friday October 29, 2021 from 11 A.M. -1 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
