Glenn was my j-professor at SUNY New Paltz in 1979. I also had the privilege of working for him as part of his role doing PR for the college at that time. He told me that i had to "earn my spurs," but it took a long time to understand what he meant.
I think about him often, and found this page because of it. He epitomized for me what good journalism what all about, and what's sorely missing in the 4th estate today. And somehow i feel he would have cut the verbiage here to just the right length.
