Obituary of Thresa Cooper Richardson

Thresa Cooper-Richardson Thresa Cooper-Richardson. (Terry) departed this life on May 10, 2021, in Westchester Medical Center. She was 57. Thresa was the youngest child born June 18, 1963, to the late Etta Marie Underwood-Cooper and Reverend Randa Lee Cooper in Monticello, NY. Thresa graduated from Middletown High School and continued her education at Orange County Community College, Middletown, NY where she graduated with an Associate in Business Administration degree. While as a Business major, she co-own and operated a restaurant on Sprague Ave, Middletown, NY. Thresa is a human resource specialist with ENT Allergy in Tarrytown, N.Y. Thresa was married to Michael Richardson and from this union were born two sons, Gavin and Kyle Richardson. Gavin and Kyle were the most important part of her life. Thresa was a devoted and loving mother who supported all her sons' activities. She enjoyed camping, family social gatherings, comedies, Black and White movies, and 90s hip hop music. She would always stop at any yard sales she would come across. Thresa's favorite color is purple. Thresa is survived at home by her sons Gavin Richardson and Kyle Richardson both of Yonkers NY. Sisters: Patricia Cooper, Winter Haven, Fla, Sandra Cooper, Brooklyn NY, Melinda Cooper, Moncks Corner SC, Carolyn Cooper, Crystal Mn. Brothers David Pete Underwood (Ruby) Duluth Ga, Ralph Cooper (Tonia), Upper Marlboro Md, Sheldon Cooper, Moncks Corner SC, and a host of other family and friends. Thresa is preceded in death by her parents Etta M. Underwood-Cooper & Reverend Randa Lee Cooper, Sister Robin A, Cooper-Howard, Brothers Ronnie Lee Cooper, and Randa Lee Cooper Jr. Visitation hours will be held form 11 A.M.-12 Noon on Thursday May 20, 2021 with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
