Obituary of Abigail Benedict

Abigail L. Sutton Benedict Middletown, New York Abigail L. Benedict of Middletown, N.Y. passed away on Saturday May 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was 104. The daughter of the late Ora and Mabel Mason Sutton, Abigail was born on March 26, 1917 in Middletown, N.Y. She previously worked at the State Theater in Middletown. She was the widow of Albert Benedict. Survivors include her children Darlene Hinton and her husband Jack and Beverly Hicks and her husband Robert of Middletown, N.Y. Her grandchildren Danny Hinton, Tamilyn Clark (Jimmy), Robert Hicks Jr. (Lisa), James Hicks (Vanessa). Her great-grandchildren Brooke Hinton, Symone Hinton, Chase Hinton, Brittanie Kanoff (Shaun), Daisay Bierer (Owen), Tyler Hicks (Amber Eichele), Kayla Hicks, Corbin Hicks, Lillian Hicks, Logan Hicks and Lincoln Hicks. Her great-great grandchildren Kayden, Auriella, Ryker, Lyla, Westlynn and Alaska. She is also survived by her cousins Terry Cudney and Robert Kinsella and Olin Benedict and Debbie Benedict and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 9-11 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
