Florence Conklin
Middletown, New York
Florence Conklin of Middletown, N.Y. a retired bus monitor with TriStar Bus Co. in Bloomingburg, N.Y., passed away at Garnet Health Medical Center on May 2, 2021. She was 83.
The daughter of the late John and Ethel Mapes, she was born on January 18, 1938 in Cornwall, N.Y.
Survivors include her children Bessie Smedley, Ethel Stewart, Floral Stewart, Alexander Stewart, Georgiana Hasbrouck, George Conklin, Lisa Conklin, Darlene Wisher and Mark Conklin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters including John Mapes and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including her granddaughter and caregiver Lagrieva Salley and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her children Leon Logan and Tressie Conklin.
Services will be privately held and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
