Obituary of Lucy Rametta

Lucy Rametta Goshen, New York Lucy Rametta (nee Sapia),97, passed away peacefully in her home on April 25, 2021. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Sebastian and her cherished granddaughter, Rachel. She's survived by her 4 children, Chet (Lisa), Mary (Walt), Anthony (Michele) and Rita (Vincent) She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Lucy was born in Connecticut and moved to Italy when she was seven years old. She moved back to the US with her husband and her children and most recently lived in Goshen, NY. She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed gardening and cooking and spending time with her family. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Noemi Gonzalez-Klayman who gave Lucy excellent medical care for many years. There will be a private burial for family at Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ. on May 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The family requests no flowers but donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Orange County, NY.
