Obituary of Gail D. Smith

Gail D. Smith Middletown, New York Gail D. Smith of Middletown, New York, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died on December 29, 2014 in Westchester Medical Center. She was 55. The daughter of the late Walter W. and Inez Babcock Simpson, she was born on May 16, 1959 in Middletown, New York. Survivors include her son Howard Smith of Middletown. Her sisters Ida Kniffin of Middletown and Linda Salvati and her husband Joe of Cuddebackville. Her brothers Richard Simpson and his wife Sharon of Middletown and Donald Simpson of Middletown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Walter D. Smith; her sisters: Bertha King; Marilyn Taylor; Patricia Miller; Judy Boyce; Janet Young; Cheryl Kowalczik; Brenda Mitchell and Betty Lou Simpson and her brother Walter W. Simpson, Jr. Visitation hours will be held on Friday January 2, 2015 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York.
