John J. Pluchino the retired owner of J&S Body Shop in Newburgh, N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on February 25, 2021 in Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 95.
The son of the late Joseph and Stella Scribano Pluchino, he was born on December 2, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York.
John was a longtime member of the Newburgh Lions Club as well as the Radio Control Model Airplane Club.
He is survived by his wife Hilda D'Angelo Pluchino. His son John Pluchino and his wife Sheryl and his daughter Linda Lover and her husband Terence. His grandchildren Melinda, Ann-Marie, Nicole and Kristyn and his great-grandchildren Sabine, Nicolas, Dominic and Ella. He was predeceased by his sister Eleanor.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with entombment in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Newburgh, N.Y.
