Obituary of Josephine Lust

Josephine Lust Middletown, New York Josephine Lust of Middletown, a former para educator for Orange Ulster Boces in Goshen, and also a longtime employee of Curtainland in Middletown, passed away on February 23, 2021. She was 88. The daughter of the late John and Rose Durante Foti, she was born on March 18, 1932 in Middletown, New York. She was the widow of Herman "Amos" Lust, who preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2017. Survivors include her children Dr. John Lust and his wife Dr. Kathleen Donovon of Rochester, MN. and Jill Sherlock and her husband Daniel Sherlock of Bloomingburg. Her grandchildren Dr. Christopher Lust and his wife Dr. Jessica Lust of St. Louis, Missouri; Michael Lust of MN.; Brittany Sherlock of Bloomingburg; Amber Archibald and her husband Tod of Minisink and Tighe Daniel Sherlock of Bloomingburg. Her great-grandchildren Hayley Archibald, Abigail Josephine Lust, Jaxson Archibald and John Patrick Lust. Her sister Theresa Ackerson and her sister-in-law Barbara Foti. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her great-granddaughter Delilah Louise Sherlock Raap, her brothers Patsy and Gregory Foti and her brother-in-law Roland Ackerson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 1, 2021 at 11 A.M. in St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y.
