Obituary of Patricia Weissinger

Patricia A. Weissinger Town of Mt. Hope, New York Patricia A. Weissinger of the Town of Mt. Hope, N.Y., a retired transportation dispatcher for the Minisink Valley School District and a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on February 10, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 75. The daughter of the late John and Marjorie Cutler Varcoe, she was born on January 10, 1946 in Middletown, New York. She spent her winters in Florida where she enjoyed time with her friends, playing shuffleboard, running bingo, volunteering for many community organizations, and she was an honored member of The Red Hat Society. Patricia was also a volunteer for the Office of the Aging Home Delivery Program here in NY. In 2008, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years, Paul Weissinger Sr. Survivors include her children Kristine Budd and her husband Daniel of the State of Florida; Valerie Richichi and her husband John of Mt. Hope; Paula Bird and her husband Carlton of Mt. Hope and Paul Weissinger Jr. and his wife Dawn of Greenville, N.Y Her grandchildren Carrie and Scott Abkarian; Jessica and Theron Budd; Alyssa Metakes (Trevor); Ashley Brucato (Samuel Rogers III); Nicole and John Richichi; Sarah and Kaitlin Bird and Morgan Weissinger. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Chloe. In addition to her parents and her husband Paul, she was predeceased by her brother John Varcoe. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday February 14, 2021 from 1-4 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Please be aware that NYSDOH guidelines require facial coverings and social distancing be maintained. There are also capacity limitations that may cause delayed entry into the building.
