Rosemary Ann Fairfield of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a retired Vice-President of Citibank in New York City, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020. She was 85.
The daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Emmerson Moore, she was born on January 13, 1935 in Malta.
Ann was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who was extremely generous to her family.
Ann lived a full life and made friends everywhere she went. She loved reading and classical music. She shared her love for music by singing in the Sweet Adelines and performing in several theatre performances. She had a great love for flowers and gardening including participating in many gardening clubs. Her home was not complete without at least one cat.
She lived and enjoyed an active lifestyle including hiking, rafting and tennis for most of her life.
Traveling was a huge part of her life, she traveled almost all of the World for business and pleasure. Her last trip was to Antarctica where she had the chance to photograph penguins. She enjoyed collecting antiques both big and small. The antiques in her home could tell a story of many adventures.
She will be greatly missed by all those that had the pleasure to meet her.
She was the widow of Joseph H. Fairfield.
Survivors include her son Christopher Fairfield and daughter-in-law Catherine and their son Steven. She was predeceased by her son Colin Fairfield. She is further survived by her grandson Daniel Fairfield and her granddaughter Donna Ng and her husband Jimmy and their children Mika and Winson.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 4, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage Street Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y.
