Jack N Vuolo, 91 years old, died, Friday, December 4, 2020, at Garnet Health Center due to complications from COVID-19. The son of the late Nicholas and Fannie Schumaci Vuolo, Jack was born March 4, 1929 in Middletown, N.Y.
He is survived by his grandchildren Alex Vuolo of Connecticut; and Matthew Vuolo and wife Ali of California, along with great-grandchildren Waverly and Hawthorne. Jack is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Sue Wheeler; nephews John Naumchik, Michael Naumchik; and niece Carol (Naumchik) Smith.
Jack was predeceased by his wife, Rosetta (Raponi) Vuolo; son, Nicholas L.J. Vuolo; and sister, Frances Naumchik and her husband John Naumchik.
A lifelong Middletown resident, Jack was a retired Middletown Police Department detective and SUNY Orange security officer. He enjoyed tinkering with small engines, gardening, traveling with Rosetta, and spending time with family and friends.
Due to COVID -19, Entombment will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
