Obituary of Lillie Olivia Lewis

Lillie O. Lewis of Middletown, N.Y., a retired bus driver for the Yonkers School District, passed away on November 18, 2020 in Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 78. The daughter of the late Martha Lewis, she was born on December 5, 1941 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She Loved to make jewelry and Loved to watch TV. Mommy like to read the bible and praise her Lord! She is survived by her children Shawn Nicholas, Nicky Willard, Roger Miller, Tanya Lewis, Lerredick Lewis, and Corey T. Nicholas . Grand Children Lashawn Ramsoondar, Tropea Pace, Shawnnta Hinnds, Jemel Pace, Thirty-two Great Grand Children and nine Great- Great Grandchildren and Jimmy Pace her Son in Law Martha Lewis Mother of Lillie O. Lewis, Daughters Tony Ramsoondar and Martha Pace all now rest in Peace together! To My Mother and Friend, The Most Beautiful Forgiving Loving Person I know! I love You and we will miss you so much! "Corey T. Nicholas" One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me." He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you. Never, ever, during your trials and testing's. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you." A Funeral Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday November 29, 2020 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
