Obituary of Charles Messina

Charles David Messina February 2, 1953 – July 9, 2020 "Charlie" David Messina 67 of Middletown, NY passed away at his residence on Thursday July 9, 2020. He was born on February 2, 1953 in Lawrence Ma. He attended the Methuen School system and went on to college getting a Bachelor Degree. Charlie worked in the newspaper industry for the majority his working life. He had retired and was delivering prescriptions to the elderly. His hobbies included expanding his elaborate train collection, his other passion was his love of aquariums both freshwater and saltwater. In his earlier days he also loved collecting exotic birds. He played the drums in the High School band and formed a band with his friends. He also has a two year old French Bulldog Daisy, who he loved very much. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helen Messina, his sister Eleanor Landry and his brother Raymond Messina. Charlie is survived by his longtime significant partner of 15 years Nancy Adelman, his daughter Leslie Clark- Constant, son in law Bryan Constant, grandson Landon, granddaughter Ryleigh from Portsmouth NH, his brother Kenneth Messina and sister in law Katherine Messina of Methuen, Ma. Along with several nieces and nephews and brother in law. Charlie will be sadly missed by many family and friends. There will be no calling hours at this time due to Covid 19. Burial will take place at a later date in Massachusetts. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ralston- Lippincott-Hasbrouck- Ingrassia Funeral Home, Middletown NY.
