Joan Vonderheyn was a freshman at Shelton College, Ringwood, NJ in 1957.She graduated from that college in 1960 as Mrs. Joan Hubner. She had married Charlie Hubner, a Shelton College student, she had met and with whom she had fallen in love. I was a freshman at Shelton in the fall of 1958. I met Joan while she and I were both students at this wonderful Christian college.. We were in contact with each other until about 2013. Joan received the Lord Jesus as her Savior and served Him during her life. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His Saints." Psalms 116:15. Another verse that has comforted me during the death of my loved ones is I Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him."
